The development of the department
According to the key development focus of the department, the “center for the developments of spatial information and disaster prevention technology” was established. The related research in engineering inspection and restoration with reinforcement and the applications of spatial information have been performed with the industries and government agencies. Including the safety inspection and assessment of structures, the design for reinforcement and restoration, earthquake-resistant assessment, environment protection、the investigation and prevention of the geotechnical incidents, the improvement of related construction techniques, material, the level of public safety and disaster prevention techniques will all be improved.
